Summary: The Co-respondence Model as basis for Integrative Therapy, Agogy, Supervision and Cultural Work (1978c, 1991e/2017)
The co-respondence model is key element within the „integrative approach of therapy, agogy, supervision and cultural work, it serves for the mentioned areas including metatheory, praxeology and practice and was developed between 1975 and 1978. To make it more easily accessible it is posted here 2017.
1.    It is an epistemological model: The co-respondence model is based on the concept of the phenomenal body [Leib]( Petzold, 2009c) as “total sensory organ”). The body, in turn, is as a ‘body-subject’ co-existively embedded (embeddedness) as part of the world and constantly internalising (interiorising,, incorporating, embodiment) the latter. Through both of these elements, man enters into contact with his fellowmen (con-sortes) and exchange takes place. The processes of “intersubjective hermeneutics and meta-hermeneutics” (idem, 2017f) emerging make the world a world becoming named through language. The phenomenal body, manifesting itself by mundane  perceptions and communication becomes the “informed body”.
2.    It is a consensus-theory of truth: Different “truths” about perceived or imagined realities are con-sensually constituted. On the basis of the given co-existence partners enter into co-respondence. That means, encounter and contention, they go through processes of consensus and dissent to arrive at con-sensus [dissent] >, which is set in con-cepts > as basis for co-operation and co-creativity. This process will, in fact, repeatedly lead again to co-respondence in such a way as to be able to frequently re-problematize con-cepts and positions within the integrative approach and it’s scopes in order to avoid dogmatization.
3.    It is a model for problem/conflict resolution: It can be applied in contexts concerning individuals, in groups as well as organisations. Problems and conflicts (idem 2003b) are subject to discussion and are being brought to dialogues or polylogues (polylogues here seen as conversation of many with many about much in many different directions, idem 2005ü). Through the course of processes of consensus and dissent, these conversations will at least come to a minimal consensus, to have achieved for the time being dissent, which stays open for respectful and further leading criticism (idem 2014e, f).
The co-respondence model draws it’s foundation from the assumption that being means “co-being” and that processes have to be seen within frames of con-texts resp. connectedness. Everything has to be seen in con-perspectives. One cannot put one in the view without the other. That is the basis principle, which can be found in all areas of the “Integrative Approach” within theory and practice, and as far as within concrete therapeutic interaction.
