Aikido als Bewegungstherapeutische Methode im Straf- und Massnahmenvollzug

 Daniel Hasler, Schaan – Liechtenstein

Summary: Aikido as a method of physical exercise in motion Criminal and mass execution
The first part of the essay serves as an introduction and deals with the implementation of measures in Switzerland. Then the author describes aikido in general before he then deals with aikido in the main part as a specific method in the work of the perpetrators. On the basis of two treatment reports, the concrete implementation becomes practical demonstrated. The introduction of an Aikido group in the execution of the measures was a new one in 2006, such as also little traditional access to specific offender treatment. Every method starts with an innovative idea, which is carefully thought out, planned, afterwards implemented and later tested for effectiveness. The basis for the Implementation of Aikido in the Cantonal Penal and Measures Implementation Facility „Bitzi“ (MZB) was developed by the author as part of a further education in social management.

Keywords: Aikido, Budo, action execution, offender work, offender treatment, integrative movement therapy.
