Summary: Nature Interventions and Supervision as Strategies of Ecopsychosomatic Burnout-Prophylaxis
The hypercomplex bio-psycho-socio-environmental and economic connections in the Anthropocene (Crutzen / Stoermer) – that means in a human-dominated era – become more clearly and medically, ecopsychosomatically (Petzold, 1970), complex psycho- physiologically, as well as in psychosocially terms, due to their myriad of „global-regional crossed units and connectivities“ (Hömberg, 2016), more and more significant. In our human-centered perspective we (7.3 billion people) we dominate the Earth increasingly by multiple and immense impacts, by overusing and exploiting the resources of the earth and thereby ultimately ourselves in a merciless way. We unfold devolutionary dynamics, which consumes and destroys the bioevolutionary treasures, nature has created us for millions of years. We maneuver right into an „ecological precariousness“ which endangers life, including our own life in this world, very rapidly (Petzold 1986h). Nature provides an immense „salutogenetic potential“ that, is also already in horrible danger! Therefore in our cosmopolitan development, a “geocentric shift”, along with a “planetary medical attitude” (James Lovelock), becomes necessary. The focus on the human and superplanetary „recreational and healing potential“ becomes the rear and base of any future human activity – particularly for interventions of natural therapeutic, -preventive and supervisory practices.
