Dieses zeittheoretische Kapitel aus „Integrative Therapie“ (Petzold 1993a/2007a) gibt unsere Konzepte zur Zeit als umfassende, komplexe integrative Zeittheorie wieder. Sie inkludiert strukturell Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft als Perspektiven, aber auch als „perichoretische“, sich durchdringende Zeit. Sie umfasst durch die zerebralen Fähigkeiten der Memoration von Ereignissen der Vergangenen, durch Zentrierung auf das Fließen der Gegenwart und durch das Generieren prospektiver Zukunftsvisionen aus antizipatorischer Kompetenz, die „ganze Zeit“. Sie machen auf dem Hintergrund der persönlichen biographischen Geschichte (Orth, Petzold 2008), Planen, Zukunftsentwürfe auf der persönlichen (Petzold 1979f), aber auch professionellen Ebene (Petzold  1998i, 2005r, 2012d), ja in gesellschaftlichen Bereichen möglich  (Petzold 2014u) und bietet Chancen für „proaktives Handeln“ (Petzold, Müller 2005b). Kernannahmen dieser integrativen Theorie sind „Leibzeit“ (Petzold 1981h), „erzählte Zeit“ (Ricoeur 1983; Petzold 2003g) im Kontext von „Zeitgeist“ (Petzold 2016f; Petzold, Orth, Sieper 2014) und „Geschichte“ (Schuch 2014). Die Zeit „zu kurz zu betrachten“  führt in große Probleme (Petzold  1979). Zeit als Kontext/Kontinuum, Chronotopos (Bachtin 2008) spielt  in allen Therapieprozessen als Prozessen der lebenslangen Entwicklung  (Petzold 1999b; Sieper 2007b) eine kardinale Rolle (Orth, Petzold 2008/2017). Deshalb durchdringt das Zeitthema die Integrative Therapie in all ihren Bereichen. Nur wenn Zeit in wachsender persönlicher Souveränität (Petzold, Orth 2014) richtig genutzt wird, kann eine  kokreative Gestaltung des „Lebenskunstwerks“ (Foucault 2008; Petzold 1999q)  gelingen.

Summary:  Time, Time Qualities, Identity Work, and Biographical Narration – Chronosophical Considerations
This chapter on time theory from „Integrative Therapie“ (Petzold 1993a/2007a) is presenting our concepts of time as an encompassing, complexe, integrative  theory of time, which is structurally including past, present and future as perspectives but also as „perichoretic“, compenetrating time. Operating through the cerebral capacity of memorizing the past, centering on the flowing present, and  generating prospective visions for the future by anticipatoric competence it is comprising the „totaliy of time“. On the background of the personal biographical history (Orth, Petzold 2008) planning, outlines for the future on the personal  (Petzold 1979f), but also on the professional level (Petzold 1998i, 2005r, 2012d) and even on the societal plane (Petzold 2014u) are possible. Core assumptions of this integrative theory  are „Leibzeit“ (body time Petzold 1981h) and „narrated time“ (Ricoeur 1983; Petzold ) within the context of „Zeitgeist“ (Petzold 2016f; Petzold, Orth, Sieper 2014) and „History“ (Schuch 2014). It is highly  problematic  to consider “the time too short” (Petzold 1979). In all therapeutic processes, which are part of lifelong development (Petzold 1999b, Sieper 2007b) time as context/continuum, chronotopos (Bachtin 2008) is of outmost importance (Orth, Petzold 2008/2017). This is why the topic of time is permeating all areas of Integrative Therapy.  Only when time is properly used with growing personal sovereignty (Petzold, Orth 2014) the  co-creative realisation of „life as a piece of art“ can be mastered (Foucault 2008; Jung 2004; Petzold 1999q;).
