Zusammenfassung: Probleme der Organtransplantation aus der Sicht der Integrativen Therapie
Anhand aktueller Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet der Organbeschaffung und -transplantation werden ärztliche, psychotherapeutische, ethische und philosophische Probleme der Organtransplantation dargestellt. Der Autor recherchiert aktuelle Bewegungen im Feld und nimmt kritisch Stellung zur medizinischen Frage des Hirntods nach verschiedenen institutionellen Definitionen (Medizin, Ethikkommissionen, Politik etc.) und reflektiert die Haltung der Integrativen Therapie vor dem Hintergrund von leibphilosophischen Ansätzen (Marcel, Merleau-Ponty, Schmitz, Böhme). Er schließt mit einem Plädoyer, das das Recht des Menschen auf einen individuellen Tod betont.

Summary: Problems in Organ Transplantation from the View of Integrative Psychotherapy
Medical, psychotherapeutic, ethic, and philosophical aspects of organ procurement and transplantations are discussed. The author discusses the current research on this field and takes a stand on the medical question of brain death, which is defined quite differently by several institutions (medicine, ethic commissions, policy). The position of Integrative Therapy is shown on the background of body philosophy (Marcel, Merleau-Ponty, Schmitz, Böhme). At the end of the article, the author pleads for the right of every human being to die his or her own way.
