Zusammenfassung: Stigma Straftäter – Stigmatisierung straffällig gewordener Menschen
Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit dem Phänomen der Stigmatisierung straffällig gewordener Menschen und ihrer Auswirkungen. Aufbauen auf Goffmans Stigma Theorie und der Integrativen Identitätstheorie nach Petzold wird Stigmatisierung als soziale Zuschreibung und zugleich als tiefgreifende Verletzung der Identität verstanden. Anhand empirischer Befunde und praxisnaher Beispiele wird aufgezeigt, wie Stigmatisierung Reintegration behindern und Selbststigmatisierung fördern kann. Aus der Perspektive der Integrativen Therapie werden ausgewählte Konzepte vorgestellt, die Wege eröffnen, Stigmatisierungsprozesse im therapeutischen Alltag achtsam zu begegnen, zu reflektieren und ihnen professionell zu begegnen.

Summary: Stigma Offenders: The Stigmatization of People with Criminal Convictions
The present paper examines the phenomenon of stigmatization of individuals with criminal convictions and its implications. Building on Goffman’s theory of stigma and Petzold’s integrative theory of identity, stigmatization is understood both as a social attribution and as a profound violation of personal and social identity. Based on empirical findings and practice-oriented examples, the paper illustrates how stigmatization can hinder reintegration and foster self-stigmatization. From the perspective of Integrative Therapy, selected concepts are introduced that provide ways to approach, reflect on, and professionally address stigmatization processes with mindfulness in therapeutic practice.
