Chancen und Grenzen der Arbeit im Frauenhaus – Biographiearbeit, Identitätsentwicklung und Institutionsbedingungen.

Zusammenfassung:
Anhand von Tagebuchaufzeichnungen werden Probleme, Ressourcen und Potentiale, Belastungs- und Risikofaktoren im Kontext Frauenhaus wahrgenommen und erfasst.
Eingeflossen sind theoretische Grundannahmen und Konzepte der Soziotherapie, insbesondere der 3. und 4. Weg der Heilung und Förderung und das Lebenslagenkonzept der Integrativen Therapie sowie Ergebnisse aus der Biographieforschung.
Dabei wird der Mensch in seiner Lebenswelt, seinem Kontext/Kontinuum wahrgenommen und mit seinem „convoy“, mit seinen sozialen Netzwerken und den in ihnen wirkenden „social worlds“, d.h. „kollektiven Kognitionen“ erfasst, um die Situation der Frauen, die aus einer Gewaltbeziehung in ein Frauenhaus flüchten auf möglichst vielen Ebenen zu verstehen und mit ihnen gemeinsam als Partnerinnen zu erklären, sie also verständlich und erklärbar und damit veränderbar zu machen.
Themen, die in den Tagebuchaufzeichnungen ausgedrückt werden, betreffen zum einen die eigene Person (Selbstbilder) und zum anderen Aspekte der sozialen Wirklichkeit, worunter konkrete soziale Erfahrungen der eigenen Lebenswelt gefasst werden, z.B. kritische Ereignisse, Machtstrukturen, Wohnwelt, Institutionen etc..
Beide Themen sollen in ihrer wechselseitigen Abhängigkeit erfasst werden.

Summary:
The problems, the resources and potential, and the cost and risk factors associated with women’s shelters are identified and discussed by reference to diary extracts.
The study brings into play the theoretical principles and concepts of sociotherapy, in particular the 3rd and 4th ways of care and support and the lifesituation concept of integrative therapy, as well as the results of biographical research. The individual is observed in her own context and continuum and understood in relation to her ‚convoy‘ of social networks and the social worlds working within them, the ‚collective consciousnesses‘. The aim is to achieve an understanding, on as many levels as possible, of the situation of women who turn to women’s shelters to escape violent relationships, with a view to arriving, in collaboration with them, at an explanation of their situation, thereby making it comprehensible, explicable and, hence, alterable.
The diary extracts relate both to the self-image of the individual and to aspects of social reality, including specific social experiences in the individual’s life, such as critical events, power structures, living environment, institutions, etc.
Both these mutually dependent areas are studied.
