Summary:
Beyond sanity. Reflections of a buddhist oriented nootherapy in discourse with Integrative Therapy.
Nootherapy is therapy of people on the quest for meaning and in spiritual emergences. In the submitted paper buddhism is presented as a philosophy and examined whether and how it can be used as a reference for nootherapy. The „tree of science“ of the Integrative Therapy is placed at the side of the buddhist philosophy what allows the consideration whether the two theories ‚match‘. As they show considerable similarities in two topics of central importance for both of them – the flow of/in time and the ontological interrelationality -, they don’t‘ show any greater contradictions. For the praxeological implications of the theoretical reflections there first is presented as example a nootherapeutic consulting place. Second there is developed a model for the classification of spiritual emergences which is illustrated bye case examples. Finally reflections are made about possibilities for interventions specifically to the categories of spiritual emergences.
