Integrative Musiktherapie (IMT) ist eine Methode im Spektrum kreativtherapeutischer Methoden im Rahmen des Verfahrens der Integrativen Therapie. IMT ist in vielen Feldern anzuwenden, so auch im gerontologischen Bereich, was fachspezifische Zupassung erfordert. Das will der vorliegende Text zeigen. Er greift spezifische gerontologische Konzepte auf und setzt sie gerontomusiktherapeutisch um, illustriert durch Behandlungsbeispiele mit PatientInnen. In ähnlicher Weise müssten gerontologische Wissensstände auch in der Poesie-, Tanz-, Gartentherapie etc. zugepasst werden. Hier kann dieser Text als Modell dienen.

Summary: What is the Effect of Music Therapy in a Gerontopsychiatric Setting? (Petzold, H. G., Müller, L. 1997a/2017)
Integrative Music Therapie (IMT) is a methode within the spectrum of methods from creative therapies in the frame of Integrative Therapy as an encompassing approach. IMT can be applied in many different fields, e.g. in the domain of gerontology, which is requiring the adaptation of specific  gerontological  concepts. That  is done in the text published here by using these concepts in the frame  of geronto-music-therapy, illustrated by examples from treatment situations with patients. In similar way concepts from gerontology have also  to be implemented   in poetry-, dance-, horticultural therapy etc.  In this respect the text published here can serve as a model.
