Zusammenfassung: Alexander R. Lurija und die Psychologie
Alexander R. Lurija hat bedeutende Beiträge zu verschiedenen Bereichen der Psychologie geleistet. Genannt seien: Allgemeine- und Entwicklungspsychologie, Psychophysiologie, Neuropsychologie, Sprachpsychologie, Psychotherapie und Methodenlehre. Lurijas Forschungen zu höchst wichtigen Problemen der psychischen Entwicklung, der Natur des Bewusstseins, der Sprache und Kognition, der Interaktion zwischen Psychologie und Psychophysiologie sollen hier vorgestellt werden. A. R. Lurija gilt als Begründer der Neuropsychologie. Seine wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit war insgesamt vielfältig und ist immer noch einflussreich. Das Gesamtwerk von A. R. Lurija ist weltweit anerkannt.

Alexander R. Lurija has made important contributions to various fields of psychology: general and developmental psychology, psychophysiology, neuropsychology, psycholinguistics, psychotherapy and methodology. This article will present Lurijas research concerning important problems of psychological development, the nature of consciousness, language, cognition, the interaction between psychology and psychophysiology. Lurija is considered to be the originator of neuropsychology. His manyfacetted scientific contributions are still very influential. His work is respected worldwide.
