Zusammenfassung: Die Funktion der Ethik für die Integration
Differenziert greift Klaus Dörner die ethische Dimension und die Funktion der Ethik für die Integration auf. Aus den Problemen der Eingliederung der Patienten des psychiatrischen Krankenhauses Gütersloh in die Gesellschaft entwickelt Dörner ein rehabilitatives Resozialisierungsmodell, das die soziale Umgebung des Patienten in den Vordergrund rückt und stärker in den Heilungsprozess mit einbeziehen lässt. Kritische Gedanken stellen die ökonomisch-marktorientierte professionelle Hilfe in Frage, die die individuelle soziale Kompetenz in humanen Gemeinschaften verhindere. Für die Hilfebedürftigsten unserer Gesellschaft kann Integration nur im Horizont des speziell dafür in allen Kulturen der Menschheitsgeschichte vorgesehenen „dritten Sozialraums“ erfolgen.

Summary: The function of ethics in integration
Klaus Dörner takes the ethical dimension and the function of ethics in integration in a differential way. From the problems of the incorporation of patients of the Gütersloh psychiatric hospital back into society, Dörner develops a rehabilitative resocialisation model, which moves the social surroundings of the patient into the foreground and includes them more strongly in the healing process. Critical thinking puts into question the economic-market oriented professional help, which obstructs the individual social competence in human communities. For those most in need of help in our society, integration can succeed only in the horizon of the “social third space”, specially planned for this in all cultures of human history.
