Zusammenfassung: Das Konzept des „Safe Place“ in Theorie und Praxis der Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapie
Der „Safe Place“ oder „geschützte Ort“ hat in der Arbeit mit Kindern und Jugendlichen in Psychotherapie-, Beratungs-und Betreuungssettings in den letzten Jahren zunehmend an Bedeutung gewonnen, insbesondere in der Arbeit mit traumatisierten Kindern und Jugendlichen. Der Artikel reflektiert auf theoretischer wie praktischer Ebene Wurzeln, aktuelle Konzepte und moderne Weiterentwicklungen des Konzepts. Er gibt TherapeutInnen, BeraterInnen und BetreuerInnen detaillierte theoretische Hintergrundinformationen und konkrete Hinweise, wie einem Kind ein solcher Raum in der konkreten Arbeit zur Verfügung gestellt werden kann.

Summary: The “safe place“ concept in the theory and practice of therapy for children and adolescents
In the last few years the concept of the “safe place” has become increasingly important in work with children and adolescents in psychotherapy, counselling and care settings, particularly in work with traumatised children and adolescents. This article reflects on the roots, current concepts and modern further developments of the concept on both the theoretical and practical levels. It gives therapists, counsellors and caregivers detailed theoretical background information and concrete suggestions as to how provide children with such a space in concrete work situations.
