In diesem Beitrag von 1984 werden Überlegungen und Konzepte zu einer integrativen Persönlichkeitstheorie vorgelegt, die auf die Elemente Selbst, Ich und Identität zentrieren. Das Selbst wird als Leib-Selbst als die Grundlage des Ichs betrachtet. Das Ich wird als die Gesamtheit aller Ich-Funktionen des bewußten Wahrnehmens, Denkens und Handelns gesehen. Die bedeutendste Ichleistung ist die Konstituierung von Identität. Diese entsteht in der Wahrnehmung des Leib-Selbstes durch das Ich (Identifikation), durch Identitätszuweisungen aus dem sozialen Kontext (Identifizierung) und dadurch, daß das Ich diese Zuweisungen wahrnimmt und mit Identifikationen belegt (Über-Ich-Bildung). Diese Prozesse stehen in der Zeit. Das Konzept der Identität verbindet damit Individuum und Gesellschaft auf dem Hintergrund persönlicher und kollektiver Geschichte. Dieser Text zeigt die Anfänge der Theorieentwicklung, die in nachstehendem Artikel 2012q ausgereift dargestellt worden ist und jetzt 2024 nach 40 Jahren noch immer aktuell ist. Petzold, H.G. In this chapter from1984 concepts and ideas of an integrated model of personality are presented that are centered on the following elements: seif, ego, identity. The seif is understood als a body-self which is in the same time the base of the ego. The ego is defined as the totality of the ego functions i. e. conscious acts of perception, cognition, performance. The most important task of the ego is the constitution of identity. Identity is constituated by the ego’s perception of the body-self(identification), the attributions of identity by the environment (identifying) and by the fact that the ego is perceiving these attributions which leads again to an act of identification with them (super-ego-formation). These processes are taking place in the continuum of time. The concept of identity thus links up the individual and society on the grounds of personal and collective history. This text presents the beginnings of the theory development of these concepts. The fully developed theory can be found in 2012q and is 2024 after 40 years still valid..
